This device powered by a Freescale MX21 266Mhz processor and Microsoft's Windows CE 5.0 operating system and also it come with 4.3 touch screen display ? the fabled SiRFStar III receiver, a 1300mAh Li-Polymer battery, and an SD memory card slot. This GPS device called the PathFinder , brand new compact GPS navigation system from MediaCanvas. Measures 2.3 x 4.4 x 0.77 inch, and offers a 2.7-inch TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 240, along with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery that lasts for up to 8 hours. It uses a 12-channel GPS receiver and comes with a built-in 2GB storage, supposedly pre-loaded with maps data and POIs. Sorry no words on pricing and availability.
This is good news for me because Garmin ( GPS Device manufacturer ) announce that they plan to release new smartphone called nuvifone, a a full-fledged GSM HSDPA smartphone built on its own operating system with GPS navigation at its core.

Panasonic release new GPS device called CN-MP50D, this device come with 2GB SD card , pre-loaded with essential phone numbers and map information of 10 million points of interest in Japan. This GPS will available in the Japanese market this February 12th for approximately $650 after conversion.
